Region 9 & 10 Presents -
Training Conference - Las Vegas
March 22 - 23, 2014

 
          The International Association of Women Police (IAWP) is holding a joint Regional Training Conference presented by Regions 9 and 10 and Tamia Dow,Chaplain IAWP. The training is open to all persons in the criminal justice and law enforcement professions. The classes will be held Monday and Tuesday, March 24 and 25, 2014, at the Gold Coast Casino in Las Vegas Nevada USA. A special reduced room rate is being offered for IAWP training attendees. The IAWP Board will be meeting Saturday and Sunday, March 22 and 23, 2014; several Board Members will be participating in the training classes which follow. We welcome you to join us for two-days of training and networking with the IAWP.

          The theme of the training is "Surviving and Thriving in Law Enforcement." Current topics include: Human Trafficking, Crime Scene Investigation, Career/Leadership, and Officer Safety. We are looking into a hands-on defensive tactics and health and fitness sessions. This will be an informative and fun conference. It will also be a great way to network with others through the IAWP Regional Training. Conference dress attire will be business attire, uniforms are not required.
