We Remember
We Remember
Today we remember September 11, 2001 and what we lost that day as individuals and as Americans. We also mark this day to remember the great achievements we have mastered courage and unity of purpose. We are asked at times to sacrifice much. But together, as Americans and citizens of the world, we have shown that we can endure, that we can heal wounds and that we will never stop at the task of making America and the world a safer place to live in.
We honor the lives of the passengers, pilots, and flight attendants aboard the planes that day, the people attending to their day at the Twin Towers and The Pentagon, all the members of the Fire Departments, Police Departments and Emergency Medical Support Teams as well as the extraordinary citizens who ran to help the fallen.
The world of policing has changed since that day. In one area, information sharing, there has been many advancements. Below is a link to an article on the enhanced information sharing that came about post 9-11.
