The Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement is proud to host the 2nd Spirit of MAWLE Award ceremony on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Boston College.  Come join MAWLE as they recognize and celebrate the excellent work and achievements of women in law enforcement.

The Award Ceremony will start off with a social/networking hour from 4:00PM to 5:00 PM with the award presentation starting at 5:00PM.  The guest speaker this year is Interim Superintendent Deborah Friedl of the Lowell Police Department.  Many of you know Debbie through IAWP as our Executive Director.

Award Nominations

This is an opportunity for you to nominate a woman that you know who fulfills the criteria for this award in the following five categories -

 excellence in performance

courage

leadership

mentoring

community service 

Nominations are being accepted until Monday, June 3, 2013.  A nomination form can be located at ww.mawle.org.

MAWLE will be announcing the election results prior to the end of the Award Ceremony for the following positions:

Secretary

Treasurer

 

Nominations for these positions are being accepted until May 25, 2013.  See www.mawle.org for further details on the election and how to vote.  Ballots are due by June 7, 2013 if mailed or can be hand-delivered to the Election Committee on June 13, 2013 at Boston College by 5:00PM.
