New Deadline for Annual Awards Nominations -May 11th

Nominations for the Annual Awards  - Deadline has been extended to May 11th. 

Please see my earlier post for the awards that are given out each year at the annual IAWP Conference or check out http://www.iawp.org/ for the criteria and forms.  The due date is fast approaching. 

I am sure there are many women who you know that would fit one of the various awards.  So please consider nominating a person and if you need assistance, reach out to each other to make the paperwork much easier to handle by dividing the task among many hands.

IAWP Spring Board Meeting

IAWP Spring Board Meeting is being held this week in South Africa.  What a beautiful country.  I would have loved to attend but my time commitment would not allow it.  I can't wait to hear how their meetings went and what they saw in South Africa. 

I hear they all had a bit of a delay getting home due to the volcano ash delaying flights.  I am sure there will be many stories to be told.
