On Jan. 14, 2014, newly elected Mayor Marty Walsh and Commissioner Evans announced Boston Police's new command staff.  This staff is the most diverse command staff in the history of the Boston Police Department.

The Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement sends a special congratulation to their fellow MAWLE members who will be a part of this new command staff.
